Motorola Quench XT3: 3.2 inch Touchscreen Android Mobile Phone

Motorola will now be launching a touchscreen Android phone in India. The new handset is Motorola Quench XT3 featuring a 3.2 inch touchscreen running on Android 1.6 OS. The phone has 3.2MP camera, 3G, WiFi, EDGE, GPRS, Bluetooth, Audio Player and Java support as well.

Motorola Quench XT3 Hardware Specifications

The new 3.2 inch capacitive touchscreen handset comes with glossy and attractive looks. The handset has a dimension of 114.9 x 56.8 x 12.6 mm, weighs 114 grams and is supported by a Qualcomm MSM7227 600MHz processor. It has a RAM of 256MB and 512MB ROM.
The phone comes with a screen resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, thus giving a good clarity of images. It features a MOTOBLUR UI with Live Widgets, has an accelerometer and proximity sensor for UI auto rotate.
For multimedia purposes, the phone has a good audio/ video player and FM Radio with RDS. It also has a 3.5 mm audio jack. Its 3.2MP camera is just about decent for taking images.
The phone is very good at connectivity options featuring 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, EDGE and GPRS.

Motorola Quench XT3 Software OS platform

The phone has Android v1.6 as its OS. And, there is no news on its update to version 2.1 or 2.2.
The handset also supports Java and thus you can download Java games and apps from the web. The device comes with various social networking and messaging apps in addition to Google Apps like google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk etc.
